Gov. Patrick visits Berkshire County wind energy farm

FLORIDA, Mass. - Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick traveled to Berkshire County Monday to check on the state's largest wind energy farm.

The Hoosac Wind Power Project is said to be nearing completion. It's being built in the Berkshire County town of Florida.

The goal is to have 19 wind turbines operating there by the end of the year, generating enough power for 6,000 homes.
