NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - Three of the four teenagers accused of raping a University of Massachusetts student in her dorm room faced arraignment Monday.
Justin King and Emmanuel Bile, both 18 and from Pittsfield, and 17-year-old Caleb Womack of Connecticut were arraigned on aggravated rape charges.
A fourth teenager, 18-year-old Adam Liccardi of Pittsfield, will be arraigned at a later date.
The four are accused of raping a student in her Amherst dorm room last fall.
None of the defendants is a UMass student.
Authorities say the woman knew the teens, but asked that they not visit. They were signed into the dorm by another student.
The suspects' lawyers insist the sex was consensual. They all pleaded not guilty.
