Power outage left 8,000 in dark

HALFMOON - The lights are back-on for nearly 8,000 homes and businesses in Saratoga County.
A NYSEG spokesman says a transmission pole in Halfmoon caught fire around 11:30 p.m. Monday night, knocking out power.
All power was restored overnight.
