A Schenectady teen is charged with assaulting two police officers who were responding to a residence in the Town of Red Hook Saturday night.

Around 11:15pm troopers responded to calls of a fight at a house party on Whalesback Road. While interviewing the initial caller, police say 19 year old Noah Thibodeaux abruptly charged the troopers, who were able to subdue him after a brief struggle.

Thibodeaux was arrested for assault and resisting arrest. He was released, scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

One of the officers was treated at Northern Dutchess Hospital for a neck injury sustained in the struggle.
