Putin signs anti-US adoption bill

President Vladimir Putin has signed a bill banning Americans from adopting Russian children.
The bill is part of a larger measure by Russian lawmakers retaliating against a recently signed US law.
That law calls for sanctions against Russians deemed guilty of human rights violations.
About 740,000 children are in need of parents in Russia.
Critics say the bill will deprive orphans of the opportunity to get a family.
