Police search for armed robbery suspect

Troy Police are investigating an armed robbery that left a man with a stab wound to his rear end.
Police say the attacker approached his victim near Third and Congress Streets a little after 6:30pm.
The victim, who is from downstate, told authorities the man acted like they knew each other but in fact, he had never seen him before.
When he told the attacker he didn't know him, the man started a fight and stabbed the victim in his back side.
The victim fought him off, but the man got away with some of his cash and other property.
