ALBANY - Hundreds of people came together in Albany to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The annual memorial service at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center featured musical performances, skits and speeches.

The tributes also included church groups and school children.

Then a small procession marched from the convention center to Albany's Lincoln Park where they laid a wreath at the foot of the King Monument.
