GLOVERSVILLE - A homeless man is facing charges that he stole rifles, shotguns, and handguns from various homes - and then resold the guns to gun stores and private citizens.

24-year-old Tim Belden also allegedly stole checks, and then cashed them.

Police arrested Belden Monday after he was accused of not paying a cab fare.

The long guns Belden allegedly stole have been recovered, but police are still searching for the missing handguns.

Detectives expect to also arrest several alleged accomplices.
