ALBANY - Governor Cuomo's new State Budget does not include almost $8,000,000 that Mayor Jennings was counting on for the City of Albany.

The money represents payments the State was expected to make because it has so much tax-exempt property in the city.

“You know I've been through this 19 budget cycles. Be Optimistic. I know what were doing and as far as I'm concerned I'm very very confident that we'll be successful,” he said.

Mayor Jennings says he plans to continue talks with the governor, his staff and legislative representatives to get the money from the State included.
