ALBANY - One person is dead after an early morning fire at 12 Arcadia Ave., fire officials say.
Albany Fire Chief Robert Forezzi says the fire broke out at the home just after 5 a.m. Sunday.
Firefighters discovered the body on the second floor of the residence, where three people lived, according to officials.
Forezzi says it's not clear of the deceased was a resident.
He says the body was too badly burned to determine the gender. Autopsy results are expected on Monday.
The cause is currently under investigation.
Fire officials say the home appears to be salvageable.
