Delmar man pleads guilty to manslaughter, leaving scene

DELMAR - A Delmar man pleaded guilty Friday to hitting and killing a man with his car while fleeing from police.
20-year-old Ian Eckardt-Rigberg pleaded guilty to manslaughter and leaving the scene of an incident.
Prosecutors say police tried to pull him over last February on I90 for speeding, but Rigberg took off.
He ran a red light on Henry Johnson Boulevard and hit and killed Rozell Whitehead.
He faces 3 1/3 to 10 years in prison when sentenced in March.
