TROY – A Monday night police chase led three police officers into a creek.
State Police pulled over a car on Interstate 787 and claim they saw a large bag of crack cocaine tossed out of the car's window.
Two people were detained. However, they report a third suspect jumped in the driver's seat and took off, leading patrol cars on a chase into Troy.
Police say the driver jumped out of the car at Burden and Mill streets and jumped in a creek near South End Tavern.
Three officers jumped in the cold water a the other end and took the suspect into custody as they pulled him out of the creek.
