CLIFTON PARK - Sweets of all kinds -- truffles, candy and chocolate-dipped strawberries -- will be served on Valentine's Day. But at Saratoga Sweets on Route 9 in Clifton Park, they're firm believers that bacon does make everything better.
So they created "the Heart Attack."
It's two strips of local bacon, dipped in chocolate and then shaped to make a heart. That's followed by some potato chips and, lastly, swirls of peanut butter on top.
The decadent dessert cost $5.
Store owner Mike Fitzgerald was inspired to create the heart attack at his last heart appointment.
