QUEENSBURY - A light dusting of snow may have caused a car accident that killed one person in Friday morning.

A pick-up truck veered off the road around 4 a.m. and snapped a utility pole near the Clendon Road Nature Preserve.

The truck went through a guide rail and hit a large pine tree.

Utility crews are making repairs to the damaged poles and power lines.
