Rensselaer man arrested for rape of teens

RENSSELAER – A Rensselaer man was arraigned Monday morning for raping a 13-year-old girl and 14-year-old boy.
The Rensselaer City Police Department arrested 23-year-old John Halacy for his actions between December 1st 2012 and February 8th 2013.
John Halacy has been charged with Use of Child in a Sexual Performance, Rape, Criminal Sex act, Criminal Sale Controlled Substance, and sexual Abuse.
John Halacy was arraigned and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail without bail awaiting his next court appearance on Feb. 22 at 11 a.m.
