Man charged in string of Berkshire County break-ins

LENOX - Police have arrested a man following a wave of break-ins at area businesses.
44-year-old Timothy Welch, of Pittsfield, is facing seven counts of breaking and entering, as well as two counts of larceny.
At least eight businesses had been burglarized over the last several nights.
