Missing Great Barrington woman found dead

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. (AP) - An 82-year-old Great Barrington woman reported missing Tuesday has been found dead.
Police say the body of Arlene Elliott was found Thursday morning in a wooded area behind Fairview Hospital.
Her car had been found about a mile away in the parking lot of a pharmacy.
Chief William Walsh says Elliott was not a patient at the hospital. She had been described during the search as in failing health.
Police tell The Berkshire Eagle they do not suspect foul play. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
