New England quarterback Tom Brady agreed to a new three year contract on Monday, and for once it was not all about the money. Brady took significantly less money---a $27 million extension over three years---than he could have made because he wants to finish his career in New England and wants to win another Super Bowl. His new deal is about half what other star quarterbacks are making on a per-year basis. By taking less money Brady saves his team about $15 million against the cap. Lets face it, Brady is 35 years old and the chances of him winning his fourth Super Bowl are running out. He wants to win another ring, and was willing to give up a few dollars in order to do so.
