NORTH GREENBUSH - Police in North Greenbush are asking for your help as they investigate a hit and run, after a man was hit by a pickup truck with a plow on it.
Police say the 53-year-old victim was walking with traffic along Route 4, when he was slammed from behind.
He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the driver of the truck, 27-year-old Benjamin Bornhorst, a volunteer firefighter, tried to drive away from the scene, after help arrived.
He didn’t get very far, and is now facing DWI and vehicular assault charges.
Police say Bornhorst is also the brother of a man who served time in jail in connection with a fatal drunk driving accident, several years ago.
