ALBANY - The University at Albany says they’re in need of money and they're hoping the state can help.
UAlbany officials were joined by business and community leaders Friday to explain their request for $293 million.
The school says it has a downtown campus with buildings approaching the century mark and an uptown campus built largely in the 1960s.
They say the school's physical structures require costly upkeep.
