Police identify the pedestrian who was hit and killed on Central Ave.

Police have identified the man who was hit and killed by a tractor trailer early Saturday morning in Colonie. He is 28 year old William Jennings of Schenectady.
Witnesses say Jennings came out of Shenanigans on Central Avenue and got into fight around 3:30 Saturday morning. Police say he was hit by an 18-wheeler post office truck and became pinned between the tires.
Moments after the accident, the driver of the big rig was assaulted. He was treated at Albany Medical Center and released. Police say he is not facing charges.
