RAVENA – An American Red Cross employee is accused of making unwanted sexual advances at a student he met at a blood drive.

Police say 30-year-old Reynaldo Higgins of Schenectady and Patterson, NJ got the girl’s information from a donor card at a blood drive at Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School on Friday.

Higgins then allegedly sent several sexually explicit images of himself to the girl.

When the girl asked him to stop, police say he continued to contact her multiple times over the next several days.

Higgins now faces harassment and stalking charges.

He’s in the Albany County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
