TROY - A Troy woman will spend eight years in prison for breaking into a home then setting it on fire.
26-year-old Khadijah Hopkins was sentenced today in Albany County Court.
Hopkins broke into a home on Elm Street in Colonie in November.
She stole a TV, a computer and video games before setting fire to the house, which was owned by someone she knew.
Firefighters found a dead dog in its crate inside the burning home.
