N Greenbush PD: man nearly 5x legal limit

A Wynantskill man is charged with felony DWI after he crashed his pickup truck on Rte 43 in North Greenbush, Friday.

Officials say 28 year old Christopher Regan was traveling west on Rte 43 when he crossed into the eastbound lane and crashed his pickup truck into a ditch around 9:30am.

According to police, his blood alcohol level was a .37, nearly 5 times the legal limit.

Regan was arraigned and sent to Rensselaer County Jail on $65,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in N. Greenbush Town Court on March 19 at 5:30pm.
