Arrest made in weekend stabbing

SCHENECTADY – Police have arrested a man in connection with a stabbing over the weekend.
24-year-old Shawn Gailliard is now charged with felony assault.
Police say he stabbed a 27-year-old man in Yates Village Sunday afternoon.
The victim is in critical condition at Albany Medical Center.
Police have not yet released a motive.
