Lake George holds fundraiser to stop spread of invasive species

LAKE GEORGE - Lake George will hold a new festival this fall to raise money to help stop the spread of invasive species in the lake.
The 'Save Our Lake Fest' will take place Sept. 27 -29.
It will feature a children's carnival, craft show, live music and a boat and classic car show.
There are at least five plants or animals lurking beneath the water that are threatening the lake's clear water.
