State Police have a reminder for anyone planning to celebrate this upcoming St. Patrick's Day weekend: Don't drink and drive.

State Police will be boosting patrols and checkpoints along the New York State Thruway starting Friday and continuing through Sunday.

Police in Albany County are planning a Stop-DWI blanket patrol for the weekend as well.
