Zoning board bans raves at The Armory

ALBANY - There will be no more raves at the Washington Avenue Armory.
The city's board of zoning appeals ruled last night that the large dance parties will no longer be allowed.
The Armory has been battling the city over the issue for months.
The dispute stems from an incident back in October when a melee broke out as partygoers were trying to get inside.
Three police officers were injured and several people arrested.
