Man accused of threatening Skidmore student returns

SARATOGA SPRINGS - The man accused of threatening to kill a Skidmore College student is back in the Capital Region.

Police picked up 49-year-old Lance Leonard from Atlantic City where he was arrested after the campus was locked down for several hours on March 5.

Police say the threat came after the student tried to break off a relationship she had with him.

Leonard is a convicted sex offender with a history of mental health problems.
