COLONIE - An Albany man faces a slew of drug and other charges related to Leandra’s Law after a crash on Saturday evening.
Police first tried stopping 23-year-old Joseph Brennan, Jr. in Guilderland just before 9 p.m.
Instead, police say he fled up the Northway.
Minutes later, Brennan allegedly hit a car outside Colonie Center, driven by 21-year-old Palwinder Singh of Schenectady.
Singh’s car ended up slamming into the side of a nearby dry cleaners.
He was treated for minor injuries.
Police say Brennan then tried to escape on foot, with a one-year-old and three-year-old in tow.
The kids were taken to Albany Medical Center for evaluation.
Anyone who saw the crash is asked to call police.
