SCHENECTADY - Closing arguments into overtime on Monday in the trial against the man accused of killing a Schenectady High School Basketball player.

Prosecutors say 33-year-old James Wells shot and killed 15-year-old Eddie Stanley at a house party in June of 2011.

Wells testified on Friday.

He claims an argument over missing car keys broke out at the party he and Stanley were at on Bridge Street.

He said in those chaotic moments, the lights went out and bullets started flying.

Wells admits he had a gun, but insists he did not pull the trigger.

The jury is expected to begin deliberations on Tuesday.
