ALBANY - The governor and State Legislature are being ordered to show just cause as the legal fight over the state's new gun law heads back to court.
Last week, a state judge denied Bob Schultz a request for a preliminary injunction.
The Queensbury man argued the Safe Act is unconstitutional because it was rushed to a vote using the message of necessity.
On Monday, another judge ordered both sides to argue their case in the Appellate Division of the State Supreme Court on Friday.
