KILLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A 36-year-old New York City man is safe after he got lost while skiing out of bounds at Vermont's Killington ski area.

State Police say they were called Thursday afternoon after receiving a report that Timothy J. Brodhagen, of Brooklyn, had intentionally skied off a trail and gotten lost.

Police say the Killington Ski Patrol located, tracked, and guided Brodhagen to a road in the town of Mendon. He was not hurt.

Police are urging all skiers, snowboarders, cross country skiers, and snow enthusiasts to stay on marked trails at all times.
