NISKAYUNA – Police have released the names of the two men accused of leading police on a chase Wednesday night.
Police say Abdul Mohammed and Godson Tomah used fake credit cards to buy thousands of dollars worth of items from Taft furniture.
Colonie police pursued their pickup truck on Central Avenue.
The suspects were eventually stopped by Niskayuna Police on Balltown Road but the men took off on foot into the woods.
State Police got a chopper in the air and Schenectady Police helped with the ground search.
Both Mohammed and Tomah are charged with grand larceny and resisting arrest.
