19 year old charged with DWI after crash with PD

An overnight crash injures two Albany Police Officers.

Police say a 19 year old was driving while intoxicated when he ran through a stop sign at Mercer and Ontario Streets, and crashed into an Albany patrol car.

The two officers inside suffered minor injuries. They were both treated at Albany Med and have since been released.

Police also tell us the teen had a fake ID. He faces DWI charges, as well as Possession of a Forged Instrument.
