ALBANY - There is an update to a story NewsChannel 13 been following since February concerning what it costs to replace the grass at West Capitol Park.

The lawn was destroyed thanks to a combination of rain, sleet and thousands of people protesting the State's new gun laws.

Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin wrote a letter to the Office of General Services questioning the cost of $61,000.

Today, he got a letter back outlining nearly $10,000 needed for the sod, $13,000 for the topsoil and $38,000 for the labor.
