MOREAU - A Saratoga County man accused of illegally selling an assault weapon on Facebook had some support Thursday from about two dozen gun rights activists.

William Greene pleaded not guilty in Moreau Town Court Thursday morning.

He is one of the first people in the state arrested under New York's new SAFE Act.

A grassroots coalition brought several members to rally for Greene before and during his court hearing. They argue Greene was entrapped in a state police sting operation and that the SAFE Act is fundamentally flawed.
