SCHOHARIE - Two men are facing charges for burglarizing two homes.

One of the homes belongs to State Assemblyman Peter Lopez.

State police say 20-year-old Connor Casabonne and 20-year-old Bryan Lemoine stole cash and jewelry from a home in the town of Schoharie last Saturday, and again from Lopez’s home in the village on Monday.

Police say the homes were chosen at random.

Some of the stolen items were recovered.

Both men were sent to Schoharie County Jail, in lieu of bail.
