BRUNSWICK - There was a court hearing Wednesday morning in the corruption case involving former State Senate Majority Leader, Joe Bruno

In 2009, the Brunswick republican was found guilty of federal corruption charges.

An appeals court overturned the conviction, but a grand jury handed up another indictment -- and Bruno awaits a new trial.

Wednesday both sides in the case were given ten minutes to make their case to a judge.

The judge will weigh both sides, before deciding where the case goes from here.
