Washington County inmate charged with possession

FORT EDWARD – The Washington County Sheriff's Department has charged an inmate at the jail after he was found to be in possession of a banned substance.

According to Sheriff Jeffrey Murphy, Joshua Straight was found to be in possession of a Suboxone film strip while in custody on unrelated charges.

Straight, 28, of Fort Edward was charged with promoting prison contraband and held on an additional $2,000 bail.
