EAST GREENBUSH - A Cohoes teen is behind bars, after police say he stole more than $50,000 worth of items from a home on Muriel Avenue, and tried to pawn some of them off.

Police say the items 17-year-old Thomas Slivienski tried to sell included jewelry, watches, and electronics.

He was arrested after a worker at a local pawn shop noticed the items matched a list of the stolen goods, released by police Tuesday morning.

Police found more of the stolen items at homes on Southern Avenue, and Lakeview Avenue.
