SARATOGA COUNTY - The head of Saratoga County’s leading alcohol and substance abuse prevention group is now stepping down.

This development comes days after a NewsChannel 13 report about her arrest in March for driving while intoxicated.

A source tells NewsChannel 13 that Heather Kisselback, the executive director of the prevention council, resigned, and that the board accepted her resignation.

As we reported on Thursday, Kisselback was charged with DWI in Essex County three months ago.

She was, until recently, the head of an agency that works to prevent alcohol and drug abuse.

Last week, the president of the board said Kisselback had offered her resignation after her arrest, but the board had put her on probation with counseling.
