Police: Auto dealership had illegal inspection stickers, drugs

GLENMONT – Police say a local auto dealership was selling a lot more than cars.

During a two-month investigation police say an undercover agent bought three forged inspection stickers from Spike’s Auto Sales on River Road.

While investigating, police found 50 more forged inspection stickers along with four nunchuks and hydrocodone tablets.

Spero Damopoulos, 48, Nicholas Damopoulos, 47, and Mary LaBatte, 32, all face drug and weapons charges.
