SARATOGA SPRINGS - Police say witnesses reported seeing two motorcycles speeding down Route 9 just before they crashed into an SUV.

Christopher Thomas, 26, of Troy was operating one of the motorcycles.

He was killed.

Scott Mancini, 23, of Rensselaer and 20-year-old Stephanie Preble of Troy were on the other motorcycle.

Both were hurt.

Police say all three had attended the Luke Bryan concert at SPAC prior to the crash.

The driver of the SUV was also hurt.

So far, no tickets have been issued.

It's not known yet if alcohol played a role in the crash.
