SCHENECTADY - Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place on State Street early Sunday morning.

Police say 32-year-old Juan Sanchez was robbed at gunpoint by approximately eight men. The suspects reportedly made off with $700 in cash and at least one of them drove away with the victim's car.

Detectives are still working to find the vehicle -- a blue 2005 Chrysler Pacifica bearing the New York license plate FJH-5662.

So far there have been no arrests.

Police say Sanchez was not injured.
