SARATOGA PSRINGS - A foot chase in Saratoga Springs left a suspect with serious life threatening injuries.

Police think he fell 19 to 20 feet off scaffolding.

This all began around 3 a.m. Saturday when police say they witnessed 21-year-old Darryl Mount, Jr. of Malta shoving someone’s head into a brick wall near Caroline and Broadway.

Mount was then able to evade police’s efforts to subdue him and got away for a brief time.

By the time police found him, he had already fallen.

Police are waiting for Mount to recover before they charge him.
