ALBANY – The man accused of holding up a Slingerlands Bank was arraigned in court Monday morning.
Police say 45-year-old Victor Shear of Canajoharie held up Trustco Bank on New Scotland Road in Slingerlands last month, dressed as a construction worker.
Shear then left for South Carolina, according to authorities and was extradited back to New York last week.
He's now formally charged with armed robbery.
He's being held, without bail, at the Albany County Jail.
