Police: Woman stole nearly $400,000 from her employer

COBLESKILL – Police say a Richmondville woman had been charging illegal purchases to her company’s credit card account for seven years.

The charges add up to nearly $400,000.

Kelly Garreau, 47, is accused of opening an unauthorized credit card under her employer’s name.

Police were tipped off by her boss, who suspected something was wrong.

Garreau now faces felony grand larceny charges.

She is out on bond.
