HUDSON FALLS - The librarian at the center of controversy over a kids' reading contest, has now left her job.

Our media partners at The Post Star report Library Director Marie Gandron no longer works at the library.

The Board of Trustees president would not say if she quit or was fired.

In August, Gandron had told The Post Star that 9-year-old Tyler Weaver hogged the contest and should step aside.

The story drew national attention and complaints from some who thought Gandron went too far.
