On Election Day, voters in New York State will decide six ballot questions.
One is a constitutional amendment legalizing the expansion of casino gambling in the state.
The latest poll from the Siena Research Institute found voters are equally divided on the issue of casino gambling.
But when they are read the question as it will appear on the ballot in November, 55 percent say they would approve the amendment, compared to 42 percent who say they would not.
You can learn more about the referendum on casino gaming at a public forum Wednesday night.
It will be held at Saint John’s Episcopal Church in Troy and is sponsored by the League of Women Voters.
